Our websites are authored on Macintosh computers and hosted with UNIX servers.
All graphics are designed by our employees or taken from the public domain.
All HTML coding is done by hand (i.e. a keyboard) - We don't let some computer program make
the webpages for us -- we do it ourselves so that it is done right. We are a small firm of
Web Designers, HTML Programmers, and
Graphic Artists. Because we are small, we don't have high overhead costs and we
can pass that savings on to you.
This website is
hosted from our offices on a 192k SDSL connection
(CAIS Internet), from a Pentium
server running Linux. We can host your
low-traffic website on our server or, for higher traffic sites, we have
partnered with Dinos Servers to offer
very competitive prices on hosting from Linux servers with multiple T-3
connections.
Legal Stuff: All webpages designed and created by Environmentally a-Ware Web Creation
Services remain copyrighted by our firm. You keep the copyright on your logo, company
name, and any content you write, but the design of the pages is copyrighted by us. The
main "index" page of each of our clients will contain a banner advertisement and link
to our website as well as the copyright notice (If you don't wish to have the banner and
link, a small text link can be substituted at the cost of $150/year). When you agree
to have your website hosted by Environmentally a-Ware, you are agreeing to a one-year
contract (all prices are yearly). All websites designed or created by Environmentally
a-Ware remain the property and copyright of our firm if you decide to cancel a design or
maintenance contract. In some cases, we may arrange to "sell" the site to you.
For advertising of our website or your website, we use LinkExchange.
